💚🖤 A very special day in Churchill GAA 💚🖤
What a truly special day we had at the Siobhán Cotter Memorial Day, coming together as a club and community to remember and celebrate Siobhán.
It was wonderful to see so many of our Senior Men’s and Senior Ladies’ players there, giving their time and adding so much fun and excitement to the day for our younger players. Seeing the children laughing, playing and enjoying themselves alongside the senior players was a lovely reminder of what being part of a club like Churchill is all about. 🏐💚
We were especially honoured to have the Cotter family with us. A heartfelt thank you to Sinéad for her beautiful words about Siobhán. Her speech touched everyone there and reminded us that a GAA club is about so much more than what happens on the pitch — it’s about people, friendships, looking out for one another and being there for each other through every stage of life.
Today was about remembering Siobhán, but it was also about celebrating the community spirit that meant so much to her and continues to be at the heart of Churchill GAA.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in making the day so special. We hope it was a fitting tribute to Siobhán and a day filled with the warmth, friendship and togetherness that she would have been so proud to see. 💚🖤
